Canadian IT Pro Event

Digg This

Today, I attended to Canadian IT Pro Event, held by MS Technet and Winternals. It was very informative, plus I got the meet Windows guru Mark Russonovich in person. He talked about Process Explorer and Recovery Manager 2.0.

Process Explorer is standard task manager on steroids. You can get it freely fromSysinternals site. It is very helpful to see what is running, what is using CPU, handles, threads. I used it many times to find a CPU hog driver or similar. New version can even fully replace Windows Task Manager. Very cool.
